1. At least one meeting with residents throughout each district in the city per
year. Minimum of 6 town hall meetings per year.
2. Early and complete public information about all pending developments and
annexations.
3. Revision of, and strict adherence to, the Code of Ethics for both the Mayor
and Council. I believe in full disclosure of campaign contributors needs to
be followed.
4. Implementation of procedures to ensure that current residents are not
subsidizing additional infrastructural costs caused by annexations.
5. Revision of the time period for which a developer is responsible for design,
construction and maintenance of subdivision infrastructure, from the current
1 year to 5 or more years after acceptance by the city.
6. Requirements that all developments have finished medians before city
acceptance takes place.
7. An increase the number of police officers and firefighters to serve,
protect, and uphold the public trust.
8. Proactive maintenance of city facilities and infrastructure.
9. Investment in our young people, through city internships, cooperative work
programs, and support for community centers.
10. Close cooperation between the city, county and public schools to coordinate
regional planning and efficient use of resources.
